Pinewood Derby Season!

We've started dusting off our equipment and polishing everything to get ready for the 2015 San Diego 500.

There have been a couple of rule clarifications added this year to help ensure a fair playing field for all the Cub Scouts participating in our race.  They are highlighted in bold on the pages of this site, please take a look.

Unfortunately we did not end up with video from the championship heats at the 2014 race.

(and now that we have the computers for the race back out of storage, we will grab and post the results from last year that we neglected to post last summer.) 

Now we're taking a lap behind the Pace Car!

While you warm up your tires, we're heading down to Parkway Plaza to set up for the race.

We will not be checking email until after we complete the races on Saturday afternoon.

It's race time!!  We're all set for the rescheduled 2014 San Diego 500!!!

Please join us on Saturday, June 21st, at Parkway Plaza.  We will be set up inside an empty store location, just east of the food court.  Click here for Map.  The race will be in C-16, next door to McDonalds.  Best parking is in structure between Walmart and JCpenney, off Village Parkway. 

Check-in and Race Times are unchanged from those originally scheduled for the Scout Fair.

Packs DO NOT need to re-register to participate in the race.  We will be contacting all the racers in the next few days confirming their registration, and reminding them of their check-in and race times.  If there is an issue with your Packs' originally scheduled racer participating, please contact us ASAP so that we can get an alternate boy registered for your pack.
